  1. Cancellation of any plan can be done at any point in time.
  2. The billing is monthly.
    1. If one buys a subscription on January 15th, the one month time will be assumed to finish on February 14th.
    2. If one buys a subscription on January 31st, the one month time will be assumed to finish on the last day of February (28th or 29th)
  3. The month's billing will be done on the first day of the subscription month.
  4. Amount once billed will not be refunded i.e., if you bought a subscription for 1 year on January 15th, 2016 and cancelled on February 15th, 2016 you will only be refunded for 10 months.
  5. The account will have the privileges of the plan you bought for the duration of the billed month.
  6. If your account has more created tasks than the free tasks allotted to your account at the end of the last billed month of your subscription plan, it will be locked and can only be unlocked by subscribing to another plan.
  7. If your account has less created tasks than the free tasks allotted to your account at the end of the last billed month of your subscription plan, it will be free to be used by you with the "Free" account privileges.
  8. If your account if locked due to cancellation or non-renewal, we will store your data for 6 months, post which SamayLa is free to delete the data. We will not share the data with anyone.
  9. The following charges will not be refunded back:
    1. Charges paid to the payment gateway providers when you first subscribed to the plan. This is usually 2-5% of the transfer amount.
    2. Environment Contribution of 5% which SamayLa and it's parent company use for planting trees. This is an effort at our end towards our environment but since we pay tax on this, we are free to use this amount in any which way we want.
    3. Taxes paid - this could be in India or in any geography.
    4. Charges incurred to transfer the balance amount to you including bank charges, payment gateway charges, taxes etc.
    5. We are free to add upto 4% of the balance amount as handling charges to get the amount back to you. Currently, we are not charging this and we will update the policy if we decide to do so. Say you subscribed to a plan for availing services of SamayLa and at that time, like now, this was zero. We are free to later change this to any amount upto 4% and deduct the same from the amount we are transferring back to you.
  10. In case you have closed the account or we are unable to get the money back to you, then the onus of responsibility lies on the user to provide a suitable medium for us to transfer the money back to them. As a last resort, the onus lies on the user to provide a bank account in India with IFSC codes, account holders name and other bank details through the same email id from which he/she registered and we will process the payment in 90 working days.
  11. If you choose a 2 year plan (Shark) and cancel within 12 months, then the rates of the 1 year plan (Lion) will be applicable.
  12. Indian Standard Time will be used for all accounting and calculation purposes.
  13. You can cancel your subscription from the "Account" section listed in your profile shown after you have logged in.
